Law enforcement without the rule of law: The Central Mediterranean Route

Fulvio Vassallo Paleologo is a lawyer, lecturer on right of asylum and constitutional status of foreigners, and member of the doctoral committee on “Human Rights: Evolution, Protection and Limits” at the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Palermo. He is also director of ADIF (Associazione Diritti e Frontiere), website www.a-dif.org, and is active in the protection of migrants and asylum-seekers rights through several NGOs and media groups.
